Our Mission, Vision, Core Values & Purpose
Mission:
Arctic Adventure believes that people should be able to experience adventure tours in nature independently.
Vision:
With workshops and trips , we transfer our knowledge from guide to participant.
We are self-reliant by using natural displacement on tours whenever possible, and we sleep off-grid.
By dealing sustainably with the environment, products and relationships, we make the world a more beautiful place.
Core values:
The following core values work like a compass for us.
Following these will keep us on track.
- Adventure
- Expertise
- Fun
- Collaborate
- Passion
Objective:
Whether we are on track with our mission we do not measure in money. After all, there is no gold to pay for that.
Whether we are on track we measure in“Nature Nights. The number of nights we sleep off-grid per year.
So in tent or wilderness hut. Without running water, gas or electricity.
A day of hiking in nature is well worth doing. However, with an overnight stay, there is more involved.
Then you have to arrange and plan things. But a night outside brings you closer to nature.
Therefore, we take these nights as a benchmark. This is what we do it for.
Our Key Performance Indicators are“Nature Nights.
For all our participants and guides combined, we are already at 808“Nature Nights” in 2022.
Will you join us?
Our Nature Nights:
Target 2023: 1,000 Nature Nights
\n2022: 808 (as of October 2022)
\n2021: 98 (corona year)
\n2020: 332
\n2019: 154
\n2018: 40
Sample calculation.
\n1 Guide with 7 participants sleep 3 nights in a tent and 2 nights in a wilderness lodge(Arctic Grand Slam for example).
(1+7) x (3+2) = 40 Nature Nights
