Discover Blue Label Travel: Expeditions for Adventurous Athletes

Blue Label hikes are adventurous, approachable expeditions for sports enthusiasts with good fitness and perseverance. Accessible to anyone who enjoys a challenge, we cover between 10 and 15 kilometers daily. We do that by canoe or me a backpack with your stuff in it. That backpack easily weighs 15 pounds.

What makes you a fit for Blue Label?

Our guides advise that you should be able to hike 10 kilometers with a 10-kilogram backpack on your back, and keep this up for 10 days straight.
Alternatively, you should be able to run or jog 10 kilometers at a stretch.

What features do our Blue Label participants have?

We find that our participants have certain characteristics in common. They are:

What will you learn on a Blue Label trip?

On a Blue Label trip, you will learn the basics of an expedition, including:

  • Handling materials such as sled bags, tent bags, burners and tents
  • Working with your draft mates and performing tasks such as lighting burners, setting up tents and creating a daily routine
  • Routines for summer trips
  • Experiencing the expedition feeling

Under the supervision of our experienced guide, you will eventually perform all the tasks yourself, while the guide gives occasional instructions.

Results of a Blue Label trip

After completing one of our Blue Label hikes, you’ll return with cool stories to share on birthdays.
More importantly, you pushed your own limits and discovered that you can always do more than you thought beforehand.
