The Sarek traverse 23 was a real expedition. Spring, autumn, winter in 3 days. Beautiful landscapes, not encountering other people for 8 days and off grid. For me, the lack of comfort was really new. In it, I discovered that I really need very little.

Occasionally some food and warmth are the only things that matter. A small group of 4 participants, all strangers, then grows into a close-knit group in 10 days, under the inspiring leadership of Onno. For me, Sarek was: wilderness, one with the elements, team effort and wet shoes.

Great experience and the stepping stone to undertake a trek yourself!
