From Feb. 28. through Mar. 7. Been on the Heroes of Telemark expedition. Pfff. That’s no cakewalk. A very special experience. Cold, white landscape (in the clouds) sometimes no depth to be seen at all, wind. But a life experience you don’t want to have missed. Perseverance is the credo. Long days stomping through the snow, pitching tents, melting snow, eating, sleeping, adventure, camaraderie. This is something you want to have experienced. I found it tough but am glad I did it. Henk-Jan Geel is obviously the man to have for that. Concluding with a visit to the heavy water factory and reminiscing at the Rjukan hotel. How nice that is when you have given up for 6 days.
