Abisko, Sweden<\/p>\n<p>What more could you want as an adventurer&#8230;. To wake up on your birthday in a tent, somewhere between Abisko and Kiruna, twenty degrees below and there is singing for you. Perhaps this was my best birthday ever.<\/p>\n<p>I was looking for adventure, arctic adventure and after one phone call with Henk Jan the decision was made for me.<\/p>\n<p>THIS is what I was looking for and needed. I did not yet have the skills to go on this adventure alone and was able to rely completely on Henk-Jan&#8217;s knowledge in Lapland.<\/p>\n<p>I usually have a reasonable idea of the adventures I take on but with this one I was completely wrong. And that is what made this expedition so special.
