\nHow are you doing now? Our daily lives have changed considerably in the past week.
\nAre you managing to find a new rhythm and fill your days in an enjoyable and\/or meaningful way?<\/p>\n

Around me I see all kinds of beautiful initiatives how people are making the best of it. How people help others who could well use this help or support. Of course it takes getting used to. Your freedom of movement has suddenly become a lot smaller and you can’t meet with people for a while.<\/p>\n

At the same time, it also means that you suddenly have time for other things. Chores you had kept putting off can finally be done. Or finally finding peace within yourself. Not having to or having to do anything for a while. You will see that this calmness will pay you a lot in the end.<\/p>\n

I have no idea how long this period will last. But I am sure, together, we will all come out stronger and better. And then maybe next year you’ll join me on one of our expeditions. <\/p>\n

And in case you are bored, I have some tips for you. I looked up some books, movies and series for you that are set in the area where our expeditions take place. That way you can still be in Norway or Sweden for a while. <\/p>\n

Never sleep again<\/a> – Willem Frederik Hermans<\/h2>\n

Perhaps you read the book once in high school, maybe not yet. Then this is your chance. Note More Sleep is about a geologist who goes to do scientific research in the swampy north of Norway. He hopes that something big awaits him on this trip, that his name will be attached to an important scientific fact.<\/p>\n

The Bird of Death<\/a> – Samuel Bj\u00f8rk<\/h2>\n

In this thriller, a detective team tries to solve the murder of a teenage girl. During the trial, a disturbing video surfaced in which someone can be vaguely seen dressed as an owl, the death bird. Samuel Bj\u00f8rk’s books are read all over the world. Meanwhile, there is a whole series about this detective team. So should you like this book, you can go ahead for a while.<\/p>\n

Something very different are the books of Gerrit Jan Zwier.<\/h2>\n

Gerrit Jan Zwier studied biology, geography and anthropology. As a writer and travel journalist, he is fascinated by northern regions. He has since written quite a few books. Including books on Sweden and Norway.<\/p>\n

\"Sami<\/a>Finally, a tip for a special movie: <\/p>\n

Sami Blood<\/a><\/h2>\n

A film about the Sami, a reindeer herding people in Lapland. At the center of the story is fourteen-year-old Elle-Marja and the search for her identity. At school, she discovers that Sami opportunities are limited to a shepherd’s life. To pursue her dreams, she is forced to renounce her culture and cut ties with her family.<\/p>\n

Of course, you can also check the website<\/a> in advance for trips in 2021. Then you can prepare nicely for that.<\/p>\n
