After lunch we travel to the Sami settlement Nikkaluokta, located at the foot of the Kebnekaise massif. In the evening we will discuss the final materials and you will receive a safety briefing. Preferably live. But otherwise digitally. We do this in person as a group at a convenient location. We will pick the date and location by mutual agreement. Then we get to know each other. You&#8217;ll get an explanation of the materials and we&#8217;ll consider the map. With tea and coffee we will discuss the trip and let you get acquainted and practice with the group materials.<\/p>\n<h3>During the Trip<\/h3>\n<p>Tours with Arctic Adventure are Expedition Experiences. You experience what an expedition could be like. Sometimes spicy, sometimes easy. But always together.<br \/>\nWe sleep in tents. You do this with someone else (or your partner) from the group. On summer trips, you can choose to bring your own tent. So then you can also sleep alone. On winter trips, at least two people always sleep in a tent for safety reasons.<br \/>\nMoving, cooking and navigating are done together. The beauty of small groups is that there is always a real and good group feeling. Sometimes there are friendships and reunions years later.<\/p>\n<h3>WhatsApp<\/h3>\n<p>We keep in touch with each other before (and often after) in a WhatsApp group.<\/p>\n<h3>Condition &#038; Experience<\/h3>\n<p><strong>To participate in the Black Label tours, you must have done at least a Red Label tour in the winter or similar.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Before your participation is approved, the guide will contact you to assess your experience.<\/p>\n<p>This &#8216;Expedition Major&#8217; is a Black Label expedition and extremely challenging in design. Good fitness is necessary. Depending on the weather, it could be a spirited ride.<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t have to run a marathon. But assume you should be able to run 20 kilometers with a 20-kilogram backpack at a normal pace, 20 days in a row.<br \/>\n20 Kilometers of continuous running is also good. Being able to challenge yourself in that area is definitely a plus.
